Humility

A friend and I were talking about how some people just have a quality that makes you want to give them the best of the best, everything they want. They just have a nature that draws everyone towards them. After a lot of thought, we released what it was. There are people in this world that don't realise their own worth because they are always so busy just trying to be better. Humility. I suppose it's a kind of innocence.

And the best thing is, the attraction I speak of is not one that boosts my ego or makes me feel higher than them. Not at all. Rather, it humbles me. They make me want to emulate them. Gosh, I wish we were all like that.

Anyway, there are only a handful of people about whom I feel this way, and while it would be brilliant for them to know how much of an example they are to me, I feel like it might ruin that innocence I mentioned.

  1. Hmm. I've come across such wonderful people myself-but personally, I wouldn't call it "innocence", as I associate that word more with "naivety". Innocence in relation to children, or kids is a great quality-when describing adults however, it isn't as sweet anymore. Perhaps it's just me, I don't know. Not sure if you can categorize them into a word. I think it's people who realize and know that no matter how great they are, there's always someone greater. That the things that matter in life, aren't tangible. They're humble, genuine. Perhaps it's people who are on the way to knowing "themselves". I don't know. Or if we wanna talk more generally, maybe they're just folks with great aura=)

No matter what it is, if you think good or highly of someone, you should always let them know. Don't let your good perception of others remain silent, only because you fear it will change them. Sincere people don't change.
